There are over three hundred species of birds wintering here in the Chiricahuas of Cochise County Arizona. This area is the ancestral homeland of the Apache Tribe and their infamous leader, Apache Warrior Geronimo. Simply put, the Sulphur Springs area of Pearce-Sunsites, Arizona and the Rodeo, New Mexico and Portal, Arizona areas are magical playgrounds for the adventuresome spirits. There is plenty of hiking in the outback of the Chiricahua Mountains and the Dragoon Mountains and the Peloncillo Mountains in New Mexico.
